The Committee on Social Policy and Labour listened to the Report concerning Implementation of the Guidelines of Committee Hearings "On Employment"

Due to the results of the hearings held on 20 December 2006, the Committee forwarded the guidelines to the Cabinet of Ministers, The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city State administrations.

Notwithstanding the activity of executive bodies aimed at implementation of the guidelines, low appeal of workplaces remains one of the problems of the labour market. Thus, out of the total number of vacancies, 44% consist of the vacancies with a wage at the level from a minimum wage to a living wage, 48% - from a living wage to an average wage of a relevant region, and only 8% - more than an average wage of a relevant region.
